Halloween Party-Pisgah Church

Halloween night we had a fire truck at the Pisgah Church for standby & also to allow the kids to see the fire truck.  Our guys were there to answer questions, give tours, hand out candy, and also in case of someone getting hurt due to the number of kids and parents on site. Kids loved the fire truck on site and all the excitement they had there at Pisgah and all the events they had setup.  We look forward to working with Pisgah alot more and help out on these events as needed.

We plan an event every year to interact with the local public and also to mainly interact and get to know the kids.  Our deptartment is always looking for ways to improve relations with the public and help train the general tax paying public fire safety.  If you ever have any questions feel free to stop in, give us a call, or send us an email and we will be happy to assist you in any way we can.

Camp Quality 2009

We took the Fire truck out w/ ESFD and soaked the kids as they played at different stations.

The guys had to get in on the slip and slide and have a race....Never fails  LOL

The best way to soak the kids down............Use the Deck Gun

Wood Heights Fire is always looking for ways to help the public be better informed of training and general knowledge about the fire service.  We will setup any training sessions that you may need for your business or neighborhood.  We have personel able to train from fire extinguisher training thru first responder training.  Some training is held outside of the Wood Heights Fire Dept.

Our department this year is going to be alot more involved with Elkhorn Elementary School to help educated kids on the importance of fire safety.  We always love to see the smiling faces of the kids when we pull up in the big red fire truck. The smile on the kids faces makes our job one of the best jobs ever.  The more kids we educate we  can help keep accidents and fires from starting.
